The correlation of the understanding of Indonesian history, multiculturalism, and historical awareness to students’ nationalistic attitudes

<span>This study aimed to analyze the relationship between understanding Indonesian history, multiculturalism, and historical awareness with nationalist attitudes of state high school students in Yogyakarta. This type research was correlational a quantitative approach. The sample consisted 126 students. Data collection used tests questionnaires. test reveal data about history while questionnaire for revealing students’ nationalistic attitudes. validity instrument biserial point correlation reliability KR-20 formula. then were analyzed by using descriptive analysis technique. pre-requisite normality test, linearity multicollinearity test. hypothesis testing Product Moment Correlation, multiple correlation, relative contribution, effective contribution. results showed that there is positive significant students' nationalism. History learning will be much more meaningful if these four concepts are as objectives learning.</span>
